Have come up with new game called "smile at the hipster"----don't really have any rules yet except to try and annoy the too cool for school people but have noticed guy hipsters more likely to respond. Engaging girl hipsters usually turns into "scan the outfit" game instead. I went into a public bathroom the other day just as a girl hipster was exiting. We locked eyes and it immediately became clear...."Scan the Outfit" had begun. She was an incredibly tough challenge. Unkempt hair in all the right places, shirt ripped but not too ripped, really cute vintage skirt and...DAMNIT! .....a curve ball. She had legwarmers on and REALLY cute tights. However, I must say I was at my best in newfound "way too low" jeans, thrift store tank, my new bangs, my vintage turquoise necklace....beat THAT baby!!! when WHAM!!!!! My new jelly bracelets I had just bought the day before caught on the handle of the doorknob and jerked me face first into the door, slamming my head with a loud THUD. As legwarmers left, she turned and gave me a smirk that said "Who's the cool one NOW?" Why do I have to be retarded all of the time?

Of course, the glory of the release party lasted all of 45 minutes. As I sit here at my computer alone at 2AM for the 3rd night in a row reconciling the Stupid 2002 books for our corporate taxes appointment tomorrow, I wonder if anyone has any idea how much fucking work running a band takes....... grrrrrrr.........

Our release party at Luna was really, really fun!!!! I baked 20 dozen FU cookies (with help from my two friends Kristen and Dominique) , gave away almost all the goodie bags and everyone came out for it and had a good time. My left ear really hurts though. I think it's because my head was right by the kick drum for part of a song ......yeah ....kinda stupid place to put your head. But we premiered our new backdrop last night! I'm really obsessed with it. I actually took it out last night at home just to look at it again. I wanna have a backdrop behind me wherever I go .....backdrop .....backdrop ....backdrop ......
