Can't WAIT for our Freddy's gig tonight. My favorite place to play. I'm making middle finger sandwiches tonight, gonna get bologna, mustard, American cheese, Wonder bread and then I'm goin to town white trash style!
As for my stolen amp....
This is also day 2 of my missing amp. Still no word from other bands about it but I don't know if they realize who they are dealing with. I have no problems stalking gigs in search of my beloved Roland and I REALLY REALLY hope for their sake that I don't see my amp onstage. I know I'm jumping to conclusions but last night I had dreams of going up onstage in the middle of the thief's band set, unplugging the amp and basically causing a scene. Or maybe I have a posse of large guys with me....and a bullhorn......and then.....REVENGE will be MINE....hahahahahaha
Had a great time at Knitting Factory last night except for the small fact that my $400 amp got taken from the club. I'm hoping it was a mistake but considering it's the day after and I have yet to hear from any of the bands from the show before us, the benefit of the doubt is really starting to wear thin. I mean, I know musicians are crackheads by nature but wouldn't you think if you got home and suddenly found you had two amps instead of one....you might call the club?
Dana=cranky. I almost put my fist through some tourist's face today in Times Square. But we got some more fan mail from Germany today. Seems our biggest out of town fans are from either Germany or Michigan....wtf?
So yesterday Matt got fired from Greenpeace. He had been there for three days and didn't sign anyone up off the street (you have to get at least 2 people a day to give you their credit card number for $15 a month...would YOU give your credit card number to anyone on the street???) so they axed him. It sounded like a shitty job anyway. He told me every morning they had them practice waving, memorize some stupid speech, then they would put on some hip hop really loud and get everyone "pumped up" to go out and canvas. Sounds like a cult to me......
